2018 Breast Cancer Showhouse

The Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse opens in one week. Please join us for a fun evening to kick-off our 21st year of fundraising to support breast cancer and prostate cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  Enjoy live music, small plate dining, and participate in our live and silent auctions! Visitors are invited to tour this year's beautiful Showhouse, as well as to visit the pop-up boutique located in the basement (30% of all sales are donated to the cause). You will find my jewelry and other vendors’ items in the boutique as we remember loved ones affected by breast and prostate cancer. I do this in memory of my sweet Aunt La Verne and many friends who have battled breast cancer (click here for my blog post on why I'm involved with the Showhouse).

This year I've been more active with the Showhouse and seen the work that goes into its planning. The volunteer board that organizes everything from finding the house, designers, every other detail that brings the final house together. The wonderful homeowner gives up their house for months, and it has been amazing to watch the designers work their creative magic in every room. It is certainly an undertaking, but each volunteer knows this is for a cure of breast cancer and prostate cancer. I'm so honored to be included in this event.
