Being Creative

Each year at the end of a show season, I wonder if I'm going to be able to come up with new jewelry designs for the next year. I'm always looking for inspiration and I never know where i'll find it. Sometime it takes just sitting down at my desk and getting to work. Creating is simply wonderful for the soul. 

This is a picture of my desk, where I make all of my jewelry. I'm surrounded by all the materials I use to design. It really is truly an organized mess.  Even so, I know where almost every bead or clasp is - only an arm's reach away. Plus, I'm surrounded by windows which gives this space a peaceful feeling.  

Once I finish a new piece, I always hope I'm not the only one who is going to like it. I still get excited when others buy and enjoy my jewelry.
